My name is Sharyn Winters, I am an artist, now residing in a small town at the base of the Cascade Mountains. I began drawing at the age of 7 years, writing at about age 13 years, and then began painting at 15 years old. However, after graduating from high school, I married, as many young women did then. And with the raising of five children, I did a lot of crafting, but couldn`t afford the cost of paint and canvases, so unfortunately that fell by the wayside. Later, I tried dabbling in oils, and enjoyed that, and eventually also in watercolors. However, now in my later years, as I am 85 years old, my life has been wonderfully renewed by my time now spent in creating abstract drawings, and acrylic paintings that seem to now just...
